Job Description:
Support Solutions, a private non-profit organization that has been providing services to individuals with intellectual and mental health challenges in central & southern Maine since 1997, is currently seeking a Direct Support Professional to work with an adult female in South Paris.

Do you have a desire to serve as a role model and mentor while providing support in helping individuals obtain their goals? If so, and you are able to commit to the following, a Direct Support Professional position may be right for you:

Advocate and serve as appropriate role model for individual and treat them with dignity and respect.
Participate in developing and carrying out plans to meet the needs of the individual.
Organize, supervise, and interact with individuals during work shift.
Be creative with planning recreation outside of the home.
Assist with shopping, meal preparation; maintaining cleanliness of personal space.
Transport individuals to community activities with use of personal vehicle.
Complete required documentation in a timely fashion.

A) Saturday 11a-9p, Sunday 3-9p, Tuesday 4:30-6:30p, Wednesday 1p-9p, Thursday 10a-2p
B) Friday 1p-9p, Saturday 9a-3p, Monday, Tuesday 1p-9p, Every Other Wednesday 9a-11a

Compensation:
Hourly: $8.75-$9.25 for the first 6 months!

Desired Qualifications:
Support Soutions will provide training for candidates that are able to meet our minimum requirements: good moral character-demonstrated by three positive references; possession of a current, valid driver's license; a satisfactory criminal record and motor vehicle violations check; ability to lift 20 lbs
